Synopsis:
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a hilarious holiday comedy that follows the misadventures of the Griswold family during their eventful Christmas holiday.
Plot:
Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase), a devoted but misguided suburban family man, is determined to create the perfect Christmas for his wife Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) and their two kids, Rusty (Johnny Galecki) and Audrey (Juliette Lewis). Clark's excitement for the holiday season is unmatched, and he has big plans to transform their house into a dazzling Christmas wonderland.
Things quickly start to go awry when Clark's dreams of a perfect Christmas collide with the realities of his chaotic family life. His overly enthusiastic decorating methods, including a massive amount of Christmas lights, cause a city-wide power outage. His Christmas tree acquisition turns into a hilarious nightmare, complete with a squirrel invasion, cat fiasco, and an unexpected heartwarming surprise.
